Coconut slice recipe

Ingredients:

For the dough:

150 g butter
100 g powdered sugar
1 teaspoon Dutch cocoa powder
1⁄2 packet baking powder
250 g of plain flour
sour cream (2-3-4 tablespoons)
White cream:

120 g powdered sugar

Preparation:

Beat the egg whites with the sugar into a hard foam and then mix in the coconut shavings.

Knead the ingredients of the dough. It is then divided into 2 parts, one half is stretched out, placed in a baking sheet lined with baking paper (20 × 30 cm), and then the egg white cream is applied.

We also stretch the other dough and put it on top of the white cream. In a preheated oven at 200 ° C for approx. Bake for 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the yellow cream. The milk is allowed to warm, the egg yolks are mixed with the flour and a little warm (not hot) milk, and then added to the milk on the stove.

Stir in a thick cream with constant stirring. Then allow to cool, stirring occasionally so as not to skinn.

The margarine is mixed with the sugars and added to the cooled cream. Spread the yellow cream on top of the cooled dough and cover with chocolate glaze.

Allow to cool in a cool place and slice.

Making the chocolate glaze:
Melt the chocolate with a few spoons of oil over steam and gently spread it on top of the cake.

3 tbsp sugar
1 packet of vanilla sugar

200 g of dark chocolate
